h1. Installation Guide
This guide describe how to install Install the following software:
* Jboss AS 5.1.0 GA
* HornetQ 2.1.2.Final
h2. Jboss AS 5.1.0 GA
_Required:_
* JDK 6.0 or above
* RHEL ES 3.0 or above
_Steps:_
# Download the installer from:
** <code>/home/support/install/installer/jboss-5.1.0.GA.zip</code> from <code>cwyrnd3-server</code> server; *Or*
** "Jboss Downloads":http://www.jboss.org/jbossas/downloads
# Login as jboss user
# Unzip the installer
<pre>
$ unzip jboss-5.1.0.GA.zip
</pre>
# Move the folder, *jboss-5.1.0.GA* to */opt*
<pre>
$ mv jboss-5.1.0.GA /opt
</pre>
# Done.
h2. HornetQ 2.1.2.Final
_Required:_
* Jboss AS 5.1.0 GA
* JDK 6.0 or above
* RHEL ES 3.0 or above
_Steps:_
# Download the installer from:
** <code>/home/support/install/installer/hornetq-2.1.2.Final.tar.gz</code> from <code>cwyrnd3-server</code> server; *Or*
** "HornetQ Downloads":http://www.jboss.org/hornetq/downloads.html
# Login as jboss
# Uncompress the installer
<pre>
$ tar -xvzf hornetq-2.1.2.Final.tar.gz
</pre>
# Move the folder, *hornetq-2.1.2* to */opt*
<pre>
$ mv hornetq-2.1.2 /opt
</pre>
# Set the environment property <code>JBOSS_HOME</code>:
<pre>
$ export JBOSS_HOME=/opt/jboss-5.1.0.GA
</pre>
# execute the build script to build the Jboss AS profile:
<pre>
$ /opt/hornetq-2.1.2/config/jboss-as-5/build.sh
</pre>
# <code>cd</code> to */opt/jboss-5.1.0.GA/bin/META-INF/lib/linux2/x64*
<pre>
$ cd /opt/jboss-5.1.0.GA/bin/META-INF/lib/linux2/x64
</pre>
## rename the *libHornetQAIO64.so* to *libHornetQAIO.so*
<pre>
$ mv libHornetQAIO64.so libHornetQAIO.so
</pre>
# <code>cd</code> to */opt/jboss-5.1.0.GA/bin/META-INF/lib/linux2/x86*
<pre>
$ cd /opt/jboss-5.1.0.GA/bin/META-INF/lib/linux2/x86
</pre>
## rename the *libHornetQAIO32.so* to *libHornetQAIO.so*
<pre>
$ mv libHornetQAIO32.so libHornetQAIO.so
</pre>
# Done.
