Configure HP LaserJet 2300 Series PS printer¶

1. go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers
2. click Add Printer button
3. select Add a Local Printer, at the next prompt, choose:
   1. Create a new port
   2. Type of port : Standard TCP/IP Port
4. press Next button to continue
5. at the Type a printer hostname or IP address, enter:
   1. Hostname of IP address: 192.168.2.2
   2. Port name: 192.168.2.2
   3. un-tick the Query the printer and ....
6. press Next to continue (it may takes a while)
7. at Additional port information required, select:
   1. Custom and press the Settings... butto, and at the Port Settings tab, choose
      1. Protocol: LPR
      2. Queue Name: lpt1
      3. press OK to confirm
   2. press Next to continue
8. at the Install the printer driver, select:
   1. Manufacturer: HP
   2. Printers: HP LaserJet 2300 Series PS
9. press Next to continue and follow the remaining instructions to complete the setup
